NEN 5760-1991 Soil - Determination of arsenic content by atomic absorption spectrometry (hydride generation technique) after destruction with nitric acid and hydrochloric acid
The standard applies to all types of soil. The detection limit depends on the device used; In general, arsenic contents from 0.1 mg/kg, on a dry matter basis can be determined. The determination can be dis urbed if the following elements are present in the test solution of the analysis sample above the given levels:
——Antimony 20 pig/l - Tin 200 ng/l - Iron 200 mg/l. Other elements can also cause interference, see note 5 in Chapter 7.
