This standard provides terms, symbols, definitions and rules for establis ing target dimensions for parts of buildings designed in accordance with NEN 6000. Comments 1. Application of NEN 2890 entails an elaboration of the material box plan into the target size plan in accordance with NEN 6000. 2. The standard dis inguis es between "building element" and "building part". It is assumed that building elements are construction products that, after processing, have become parts of a building (building parts). The term "building part" is used in the standard regardless of the possibility that the building has already been constructed or that the project described or depicted on drawings has yet to be carried out. 3. NPR 2573 includes instructions for drawing space plans, material box plans and target size plans. Among other things, it shows the grids associated with these plans and states that modular sizes are expressed in M and target sizes in mm.1)
