This standard provides rules for the preservation of wood according to vacuum and pressure methods with creosote oil and rules for the data to be provided by the client and the data to be recorded by the executing company. Note The standard provides a number of variants for the actual treatment. Depending on, for example, the type of wood, desired result and condition of the wood, a choice must be made in mutual consultation between the client and the executing company. The standard also specifies the required net inclusions for the various wood applications and the requirements for creosote oil. This standard does not include the environmental and odor aspects.
