Scope
This standard describes a method for determining the sodium and potassium content of cheese and processed cheese containing no more than 1 g of sodium or potassium, respectively. Contains 20 g potassium per kg. Note The determination of sodium and potassium content is usually only carried out in (processed) cheese for a low-salt or low-sodium diet.
