This standard describes the determination of the fat content of cream (unleavened cream, coffee cream, whipped cream, etc.) with the Gerber butyrometer according to the dilution method. The determination is only applicable if the sample is in good condition. For example, if the sample is sour or buttered, the result of the test is not reliable.
