The standard is suitable for determining the dis olved sulphate content in water with a sulphate content of at least 1 mg/l. Calcium, magnesium, iron and aluminum ions interfere with the determination and are also determined as sulphate. Note The interference caused by calcium, magnesium, iron and aluminum ions is eliminated when determining according to this standard by including a cation exchanger in the flow analysis system.
