Scope

The standard applies to adhesives and associated cleaning agents intended for making connections between: a. water pipes made of unplasticized PVC in accordance with Quality Requirements No. 49; b. water pipes made of PVC/CPE according to Quality Requirements No. 75; c. these pipes and fittings are made of unplasticized PVC in accordance with Quality Requirements No. 54; d. these fittings mutually. The standard applies to adhesives for connections up to and including a nominal outer diameter of 90 mm. The standard is only suitable for assessing adhesives with associated cleaning agents under laboratory conditions.
