This standard establis es the profile parameters of railway tracks. This standard is applicable to public service railway tracks with an internal track width equal to 1,435 mm and to projects of new tracks, second tracks and reconstruction of exis ing tracks. This standard is not applicable to the railway tracks of the railway yards as well as to those branches that are used for operations in the yards, nor to the railway tracks used by the MINAZ, nor to those located inside industrial zones.
