This standard establis es the quality specifications of technical sulfuric acid used for the production of rayon, fertilizers, panel, hydrochloric acid, nickel industry, water treatment, as raw material in the preparation of electrolytic solutions for acid batteries, as well as as for other industrial uses. This standard does not apply to sulfuric acid used as an analytical chemical reagent, acid batteries and in the preparation of pharmaceutical chemical products.
