Scope

This standard establis es the methods and means for the verification of polarimetric and saccharimetric quartz plates within the measurement limits of -80 to + 80° and -230 to + 230 °S, with a maximum permis ible error not less than 0 .01° and 0.01°S respectively, for sodium light with a wavelength of 589.28 nm.
