Scope

This standard establis es test methods to determine the hygroscopic properties (humidity, hygroscopicity, mois ure transmis ion and water absorption) of textile fabrics. This standard is not applicable to textile fabrics that have surface coatings of sizes or finis es (except silk or semi-silk).
