Scope

This standard establis es an electrochemical test method that allows evaluating the protective action of concrete on the corrosion of reinforcing steel. This method is applied to concrete produced on the basis of hydraulic binders (cement, lime, gypsum) and different natural or artificial dense or porous aggregates with or without the use of mineral or chemical additives in the cement or in the mixture of concrete.
