This standard establis es the test methods for the determination of humidity, the content of substances insoluble in water, sodium chloride, sulyates, free acidity, free alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, iron, copper, arsenic, lead, iodide, iodine, bromide, nitrogen, potassium, phosphates, barium, chlorates, nitrates, fats and oils, the content of permanganate-reducing substances and the use of NaCl for the preparation of pH-regulating solutions in all types of sodium chloride.
