Scope

This International Standard specifies a method for the spectrophotometric determination of iron in zincs and zinc alloys. The method is applicable to zinc alloys defined in is /R 301, and to die castings with these alloys, as well as to zincs containing more than 0.01% copper. It allows the determination of iron contents between 0.01 and 0.08%.
