This European Standard describes a vofumetric method for determining the total lead content of automobile and aviation gasoline, containing added alkyl derivatives of lead (tetraethyl or tetramethyl lead, trimethylethyl lead, dimethyldiethyl lead, methyltriethyl lead, or their mixture). It is applicable to products with a lead content between 0.05 and 1.3 g of lead per liter.
