Scope

1.1 This standard sets the conditions to be respected for evaluating the resis ance of dyes on textiles, of all types and at all stages of processing, to the action of organic or mineral acids in extended solutions. 1.2 Three tests of different severity are planned. Depending on the nature of the fiber, one or more of them can be used.
