The standard is applicable to non-plasticized PVC-C tubes used for the evacuation of wastewater, under free flow and at temperatures up to 100°C, possibly carrying solid particles. It is also applicable to non-plasticized PVC-C tubes used for ventilation and the transport of hot air. These tubes can be buried, embedded, placed in the open air or submerged.
