This standard gives the requirements and methods for sampling and testing motor vehicle gasolines. By gasoline for motor vehicles, we mean any volatile mineral oil, intended for the operation of spark ignition engines, used for the propulsion of vehicles. Gasoline consis s of at least 80% by volume of hydrocarbons, including quality-enhancing additives (maximum 3% by volume). It may contain substitute fuels (organic oxygenated compounds) while respecting the requirements of standard NBN T 52-725.
