Scope

This International Standard specifies a barium sulfate gravimetric method for the determination of sulfates in potassium hydroxide for industrial use. The method is applicable to products whose sulfate content, expressed as potassium sulfate and related to KOH, is equal to or greater than 0.10% (m/m).
