Scope

This standard concerns the transport, installation and connections of horizontal cylindrical tanks made of reinforced thermosetting plastics with a capacity of 0.5 to 250 m, intended for the storage of liquid products at normal atmospheric pressure and temperature, and whose flash point is greater than 55°C and less than or equal to 100°C. This standard applies to tanks connected to a storage, dis ribution or consumption installation for liquid products and whose replacement is only necessary if the tanks are taken out of service. This standard is applicable without prejudice to exis ing legal provis ons in this area.
