This standard specifies the conditions required to obtain reproducible and comparable measurement results of the level and spectrum of nois emitted by all types of vehicles running on rails or any other vehicles with guided movement. In the appendix, specifications are given for measuring the level of exhaust nois , for measurements of parked and accelerating vehicles and for measurements in stations, on bridges or viaducts and in tunnels.
