This standard describes a sampling method as well as a process for determining the average concentration of gaseous fluorides, the average concentration of particulate fluorides soluble in the Tis B solution (4.3) and the concentration of particulate fluorides. total res of ambient air for at least 4 h. The method is applicable for concentrations of gaseous or particulate fluorides soluble in Tis B greater than 0.lug/m3 and for concentrations of total particulate fluorides greater than 1 vg/m3. Note - The method does not exclude, for orientation tests, determining the total fluoride concentration by removing the heated filter (3.1).
