The purpose of this standard is to establis a procedure for determining the furnace slag content in cements. It is applicable to slag portlanid cement, iron portlanid cement, blast furnace cement and permetallurgical cement. It is only applicable if the manganese content (§ 5.2) of the dairy fraction (§ 5.1) is equal to or greater than three times the manganese content of the olinker fraction (§5.1).
