Scope

This International Standard specifies a titrimetric method using sodium tetraphenylborate for the determination of potassium in potassium chloride for industrial use, that is to say in a product with a minimum KCI content of 95% {m/m ) approximately. This limit, conventionally expressed in K or K2O, corresponds respectively to approximately 50% (m/m) or 60% (m/m).
