Scope

This International Standard specifies a barium sulfate gravimetric method for the determination of sulfates in sodium hydroxide for industrial use. The method is applicable to products whose sulfate content, expressed as sodium sulfate and related to NaOH, is equal to or greater than 0.10% (m/m).
