Scope

This International Standard specifies an iodometric method for the determination of sulfur dioxide in sulfuric acid and oleums for industrial use. The method is applicable to sulfur dioxide contents equal to or greater than 2 mg/kg. NOTE — For sulfur dioxide contents above 50 mg/kg, see also is /R 912.
