The smooth ball joints defined by this standard can be used in the temperature range - 54 to + 150 "C. However, being lubricated with the following greases (see EN 2337):
——extreme pressure grease, ester type (code A), range of use - 73 to + 121 °C or - extreme pressure grease, synthetic hydrocarbon type, general purpose (code B), range of use - 54 to + 177 °C, their field of application in the case of Lubrication with grease A is limited to 121°C. In both cases one of the spherical surfaces, at the producer's choice, must be coated with a dry lubricant (anti-seizing treatment).
