This International Standard specifies a method for the polarographic determination of cadmium in foundry zincs. The method is applicable to the following types of zinc: Zn 99.95, Zn 99.5, Zn 98.5 and Zn 98, defined in is /R 752, having cadmium contents between 0.01 and 0, 5%. This method is not applicable if the copper content is more than four times higher than the cadmium content.
