The method is applicable to the sampling of liquid chlorine for industrial use, with a view solely to determining the volumetric chlorine titer, when a prior agreement has been agreed between the interested parties (taking two representative samples during the filling of the tank car at the manufacturer). It cannot be applied when we have in mind the dosage of water.
