Scope
This International Standard specifies a method for determining the bromine number of the following products: a) Petroleum dis illates actually free from products lighter than is butane and having a dis illation point temperature of less than 90%> 330°C. The method is generally applicable to gasolines (including leaded fuels), kerosenes and dis illates in the gas oil range falling within the limits below, unless they contain additive constituents such as alcohols, ketones, ethers or amines: Dis illation temperature at the point Bromine number max. 90% dis illation (see note) (is 3405),
