This standard specifies the conditions for obtaining reproducible and comparable measurement results of the level and spectrum of nois emitted by boats of all types on inland and port navigation routes, this standard is also applicable to small seagoing vessels, service boats and dredgers. In the appendix are given specifications for measuring the exhaust nois level and measurements on parked boats.
