Scope

The method is applicable to products with an ammoniacal nitrogen content greater than 0.000 1% (m/m). The procedure, as described, is suitable for contents between 0.000 1 and 0.000 5% (m/m). If the analyzed acid contains more than 0.0005% (m/m) ammoniacal nitrogen, the mass of the test Portion must be reduced accordingly.
