1.1 This standard prescribes the constructional details and other particulars of scoured, bleached or dyed, seamless gents' cotton socks knitted in plain rib or fancy stitches.
1.2 This standard does not cover 'turnover top' socks. anklets, stockings and fashioned or fully-fashioned socks and stockings.
1.3 This standard does not specify the general appearance, feel,.etc. of the socks nor the shade of the dyed socks (see also 4.5).
