Scope

1.1 This test method covers the measurement of the seal strength of flexible barrier materials. 1.2 The techniques and equipment used to form these seals are not covered. 1.3 This test method does not measure seam continuity or any other seam properties beyond the force required to tear apart a seal of standard width.
