MS 1513 Pt.4 SUB Pt.2-2002 Transport of dangerous goods in packages: Part 4: Packaging and tank regulations: Part 2: Use of portable tanks and multi-element gas containers (MEGC)
This Malaysian Standard specifies the general provisions for the use of portable tanks and multiple-element gas containers (MEGCs) for the transportation of dangerous goods.
NOTE. Although the requirements in this standard is applicable to the transportation of Class 7 - Radioactive
materials, users should note that the transport of radioactive material in Malaysia shall be in accordance with the Radiation Protection (Transport) Regulations 1989. Radiation Protection (Transport) Regulations 1989 shall not apply where there are provisions in force to the contrary in any international transport regulations for routes using international pathways and for such routes, the transport of radioactive material shall be in accordance with the provisions provided therein.
