This Korean Industrial Standard specifies dust respirators used where there is a risk of harm exerted on the human body by inhalation of particulate substances produced in places of business and other locations (hereafter referred to as "respirators").
Remarks 1. The units and numerical values shown in braces { } in this Standard are based on the traditional units and are appended for informative reference.
2. Those respirators specified in this Standard may not be used in places where the oxygen partial pressure necessary for respiration (oxygen concentration converted to the value at normal pressure, 18% or higher) is likely not to be obtained or where there is present a gas, vapor, or volatile mist likely to cause harm through its inhalation.
