Scope
This Korean Industrial Standard specifies the method for measurement of electrical conductivities in the range of 5μS/m to 200S/m(25°C) {0.05μS/cm to 2.00 S/cm(25°C)} of electrolytic aqueous solution and water (river water, sea water, rain water, distilled water, deionized water, etc.). Remarks 1. Traditionally μS/cm has been used as a unit of electrical conductivity, and cm-1 has been used as a unit of cell constant. In this Standard, μS/m, mS/m, S/m are, as a rule, used. When a numerical value expressed in a unit of μS/m is multiplied by 0.01, or when a numerical value expressed by a unit of mS/m is multiplied by 10, a numerical value expressed by a unit of μS/cm is obtained as the electrical conductivity. Further, when a numerical value expressed by a unit of m-1 is multiplied by 0.01, a numerical value expressed by a unit of cm-1 is obtained as the cell constant. 2. In this Standard, the standard temperature for electrical conductivity is 25°C. 3. The units and numerical values in { } in this Standard are based on the traditional units and appended for informative reference.
