This Korean Industrial Standard specifies the polystyrene (1) moulding materials (herein-after referred to as "moulding materials").
This Standard applies to moulding materials to which blueing agents, antioxidants, lubri-cants, or polymerization assistants are added. It does not apply to special types of moulding materials, such as coloured type, light-stabilized type, anti-electrification type, noninflammable type, and filler compounding type, and so forth.
Note (') Polystyrenes refer to the homopolymers of styrenes (hereinafter referred to as
"general-purpose polystyrenes") and also to the styrene polymers reformed by
synthetic rubbers for improving the impact resistance (hereinafter referred to as "impact-resistant polystyrenes").
