Scope
This standard specifies the main performance requirements, test procedures and test report contents of the test equipment used for random vibration tests on transport packages and UPUs. This standard is applicable to assess the strength of the inner and outer packaging, the sealing strength of the packaging box and the protection ability of the packaging to the contents when the transport package and the container unit are subjected to random vibration. It can be used as a single test or as part of a series of tests.
