Scope: Replacement: This section of Part 2 of GB/T 19215 is a special requirement for cable duct systems installed on walls or ceilings. This system of ductwork is used to accommodate and, if necessary, to separate conductors, cables or cords and other electrical equipment. The system can be directly concealed or semi-concealed on the wall or ceiling, and can also be installed indirectly on the wall or ceiling or on a component separated from the wall or ceiling. The cable duct system is hereinafter abbreviated as CT/DS. This section does not apply to conduits, cable trays or ladders (cable trays), switches, sockets or similar electrical accessories to which other national standards apply, and current-carrying parts in this system. The different versions of the system are shown in Figure 101 and described in Appendix A.
