- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, acceptance rules and signs, packaging, storage and transportation requirements of general-purpose fabric-core flame-retardant conveyor belts with rubber coverings (hereinafter referred to as "belts"). This standard applies to general-purpose fabric-core flame-retardant conveyor belts used in chemical, coal, metallurgy and electric power industries. This standard does not apply to flame-retardant conveyor belts used in coal mines, nor does it apply to flame-retardant conveyor belts with metal skeletons.
