Scope

This test method explains the method for determining the hardness for vulcanized rubber and thermoplastic rubber (hereinafter refer to as a vulcanized rubber). Remarks 1. Values in parentheses in this test method are presented in standard units for information only. 2. Corresponding standards applicable to this test method are as follows: ISO 48: 1994 Rubber, vulcanized or thermoplastic - Determination of hardness(hardness between 10IRHDand100IRHD) ISO 7619: 1986 Rubber - Determination of indentation hardness by means of pocket hardness meters
