This standard specifies the connection tools or crimp terminals specified by manufacturers of JIS C 9711 for connecting stranded or solid annealed copper wires used for wiring inside power equipment and between equipment. Use a connecting tool (hereinafter referred to as the tool) to crimp the wire to the end of the wire. Covered crimp terminals are referred to as insulated terminals, and both are collectively referred to as terminals. Note: The insulated terminals specified in this standard are used for wiring with control circuits.
