This Kenya Standard prescribes methods for determination of colour fastness of textile materials of all types and in all forms to the action of soap solution at 40°C and 50°C, and to the action of soap and sodium carbonate solution at 60°C and 95°C.
NOTE 1 :These methods are designed to determine the effect of washing only on the colourfastness of textile materials. They are not intended to reflect the result of the comprehensive laundering procedure.
