Scope

This standard specifies a test method for determining the ability of metal sheets and strips with a thickness of 1 mm to 2.0 mm and a width of 90 mm or more to withstand plastic deformation during drawing and forming. For thicker plates and strips that can only accommodate narrower specimens, molds of specified sizes need to be used, and the results should be expressed with subscripts, see Table 1.
