1.1 This standard prescribes the procedure for the determination of fat in cheese by the Van Gulik method.
1.1.1 This method is applicable to all types of cheeses. However, it may not give completely satisfactory results when it is applied to cheeses with an internal mould ( blue-veined cheeses ).
