1.Prescribes minimum requirements for the manufacture of electrically driven condensing units air coded or water cooled of single stage compressor open type or semi-hermitic for use in temperats and tropical climates. The standard is limited to machines using Refrigerant-12 or 22 but may be applied as appropriate to machines designed for use with other halogen refrigerants.
