Scope

This standard specifies requirements for the butyrometers, stoppers, milk pipettes, amyl alcohol pipettes, automatic measures, tilt measures, centrifuges and water-bath required for determination of percentage of fat in whole milk, evaporated milk (unsweetened ), separated milk, skim milk, butter milk, cream and cheese by the Gerber method.
