1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods of test for the material commercially known as Ready Mixed Paint, Brushing, Under-coating, Exterior, Matt Finish, with the distinctive colours as specified in the title. The material is used as an undercoating for the appropriate finishing paint for exterior protection and decoration of buildings and for camouflage purposes.
1.2 This standard is intended chiefly to cover the technical provisions relating to the purchase of the material, but it does not include all the necessary provisions of a contract.
