Scope

1.1 This standard applies to components of low voltage sweatchgear and controlgear such as contactors ( according to IS : 2959-1975* ) and associated overload relays [ according to IS : 8544 (Part 1 )-1977〓 ]. 1.2 The identification of the terminals of circuit-breakers, switches and disconnectors and control switches is excluded from this standard.
